Small Haddoni, is this normal?

Mine did just like yours for a few weeks after I got it. Then I swapped tanks to add to it. When I put it in my new tank I placed it on a rock. It eventually moved off the rock into the sand and has been there ever since. It still deflated about ever 3 to 4 days. Scared me at first because it gets so small but next day it’s inflated fully. Also deflates some the day after I feed it. Not sure what mine does is normal because this is the only one I have ever had. Good luck.

I have a gbta that does the same thing every few days, but other than that it's been perfectly healthy and almost the size of a basketball.

Something good to feed it would be reef roids, if you mix some up and use a syringe to dispense it over the surface of the nem it will absorb it and it won't have to digest all of the meat, but will still get a good amount of nutrients.
I would not do this. There is no evidence that anemone "absorb" food. All you do here is dirty up your aquarium and the zooxanthellae may possible benefit from the dirty water. Haddoni are voracious fish eater. Feed him a piece of fish and he will eat it and grow from this food. I would not feed your anemone unless he is healthy, and you like for him to grow. Feeding once a week is plenty, depends on the amount you feed. If the food is too large they usually regurgitate after 2 days or so. This is bad for their health.
I have grown 6 inches Haddoni to 18 inches in a bout 1 year when I really feed him a lot.
If you want to feed the anemone, feed the anemone, gont get the water dirty so the anemone grow from dirty water.

If your anemone continue to deflates and does not attach I would take him out to Hospital tank and treat him.
Good luck. Hope he gets s much better today
