I have a 12 gallon IM tank that has one of those little 3 stage caddies in it. I use floss on top, then carbon bag and a gfo bag. Does anyone know of a supplier that makes small media bags? Everything i find is large, around 5-8 inches, just a small 2-3" square bag would be perfect so i can refill myself with bulk media.

TLF gfo comes with a little bag in the container. I’d try Amazon. Or if you have an extra fish net laying around, you could cut out the mesh and use a zip tie to turn it into a bag.

I buy bags from Petsmart and cut them/sew them smaller. Costs 1 dollar (plus gas to get there) and I can make many bags from one larger one. Sewing machines are easy to use once you get the hang of it...

The ones I get are 3"X8". Just fill to 3x3 and fold it over.

hmm, never thought of trying to cut and sew them, as i've never really tried to sew before. I just might give that a try.
ty for the insight

you can also just zip tie the bottom and cut the excess, it's just that a zip tie and "knot" uses up more space than stitching it. much easier/faster, just depends on how much space you are dealing with
