I'm looking at a 20gallon drum for saltwater mixing. It has 2 holes on top, both 2" diameter. I have some options for mixing, but I was hoping for a small pump that I could drop in the hole without any additional plumbing. Anyone know of one that would fit?

I'm thinking the sicce nano or koralia nano might do, just hoping to hear from someone who has done it.

I'll bump this up one more time. I don't have actual measurements yet, but I believe the nominal 2" hole is really 2 1/4" Still pretty small, but I think a few pumps fit in there. My alternatives to a submersible pump might be an externally run danner mag 2 or 3, or maybe even just an air pump and stone, with a long PVC lift tube to generate some flow. But since it is in my garage, and I tend to use some non-fish-friendly things in my garage, I'm leery of using an air pump for circulation. (certainly I can just shut it off and install the cap as needed - probably not a big deal)

I use the Koralia Nano 425 for my mixing barrel. I just measured the OD and its at 2". I easily passed it through a 2 1/4" opening.

Thanks Rob. I just tossed one of those a few months back - the wire burned up but it was pretty old.

I had been looking for more of a utility pump than a powerhead. But I have a pretty small utility pump (its old, but I think its an mj) and it won't fit in the hole. But I remembered back in the back of my fuge there is a sicce nano stream 250. I fished it out and it fits in the hole. It looks like the 530 model has the same exterior dimensions, just a different impeller - so I think that's what I'm getting.
