Small return pump better than Sicce 3.0?

So my Sicce 3.0 is slowing down too much. I have about 5.5 or 6ft Of head height and it’s trickling down so slowly that it’s not even overflowing into my filter sock anymore and all water is flowing to refug — Eschopps Nano Cube sump. I’ve cleaned it and it’s still not doing well.

Return pump has to be 3.5” x 5.5” max...is there anything that pushes out more than 800gph in this size?

Are you sure the pump inlet control is wide open and pump is not clogged/dirty? I have several of these pumps and they work great.

What size tubing are you using on the outlet? According to the flow chart you should still get about 400 gph at 6' with that pump.

All my returns are Sicce, including a 3.0, I am wondering if there isn't something up in the plumbing as these have been very good pumps for me for at least 5 years now.

Can't go wrong with a Tunze.
But maybe it's time for a new impeller for Sicce?
