Small round green things . . .

Reposting to the hitchhiker forum. This new tank was started with Gulf live rock about a month ago. I'm trying to get algae under control, and have noticed these small green round things popping up. Is this some kind of algae?

Can't ID but they look super cool! If it doesn't react to being touched or anything I'd guess it's algae.
