Small Stars. Good or bad?

I have them and they are so annoying , i believe they eating coraline algea from glass cause i saw alot of tgen in my back side glass and it was fully coraline and now way to be clear , and im not sure about if they eat star polyp , im looking for harlequin shrimp to get ride of them , and i dont find yet

They multiply very rapidly once they hit critical mass. I have had them eat whole colonies of zoanthids. Prior to that I let them go, then I noticed certain zoas not opening, and checked out my tank late one night and these little buggers were all over them.

Bought a Harlequin Shrimp and he ate them all. I'd get rid of them, not worth the chance that they're harmless. I haven't had a problem with my zoas since...

Harlequin shrimp take care of these guys with ease, just make sure to capture the shrimp once the population is extinct or the shrimp will starve to death in your tank.

My tank is starting to get over run with this buggers.. I might have to lend a friend my Blue Linckia Star so he doesn't get eaten if I get a Harlequin Shrimp...

They wont bother anything and hardly ever do they reach numbers that need to be taken care of. +1 on the shrimp if you get too many.

Another good way is to just scrape them off the glass when you do water changes.

Mine started to disappear after adding a Hoevens wrasse but they never caused a problem though I now only see maybe one or two now and was close to 20 or more
