I'm wanting to add a small, 7"-8" tablet/pad to serve as my display for my RA controller and to use as the interface for things Feeding Mode and turning-off individual relays, and also for my Bluefish controller to manage my LEDs. I plan to mount on the outside of the stand or with my other controller equipment next to the stand. The RA application is cloud-based so no special considerations there except normal wifi. The Bluefish controller is only compatible with Android and iOS, and knowing iOS will be expensive, that pretty much leaves me with Android. I plan to leave plugged-in all the time, other than just to hold in my hands when I need a closer look at the screen. I also want the ability to keep the screen lit all the time, which would require a setting to allow as this is likely uncommon. I obviously won't use this for gaming or anything like that so it doesn't need great specs. However, I do want a decent touchscreen, decent resolution, and it to be relatively robust, especially with the screen lit all the time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I installed Google play services on ours and all apps I've installed work. Very handy for a cheaper option.

Yeah, been researching and I can do both things I need to make it do... run Android apps/download Google Play, and keep it from timing out (when plugged-in) so I will always have my display. Thanks!
