small white things growing on glass

newly set up tank. about 3 months old. little white things the size of a copepod growing on glass. not copepods though. almost shaped like little feather dusters. any ideas? can’t really get a photo

I know this is an older post but I think I have a photo of what tracereefer is talking about. They are attached by a single strand and wave with water movement. Can anyone ID these?
