small white things.

After my lite goes out. awhile later these little white things about the size of a grain of sand start covering my glass. some nights there seems to be more. some not so much. anyone got an idea? thanx

They're most likely pods. Very good to have in your reef. They scrape algae (although not really enough to consider them a major part of your CUC), but more importantly they act as a live food source for your other critters.
