Small white worms id please.

I just noticed that there are small white worms crawling on my glass. Too many to count.. they are slow though and they dont look like they are flat, more tube like i think. Does anyone know what they are or if they're beneficial to my tank?

I wish I knew...have your fish eaten any of them?

I dont think my fish ate any of them.. i dont see them pecking on the glass. Ill monitor them more closely

Hopefully someone will respond with an ID on them soon....I'd love to know too incase I run into some

It looks like Munnid isopods. Beneficial, good guys. They eat algae. Also good food source.

It doesnt have any visible legs though.. and the way it moves, it looks similar to how an earthworm moves.

This is the best pic i could do, i only have my phone to take pics and i cant get any more closer or else it will get blurred. My clown in the video is 1 1/2" long so this thing is really small.

Could this be a flat worm? Its so small, hard to tell if its flat... but it kinda moves like this flat worm in a video in youtube i found..

Wow thanks. Ya they look like nematodes. It says on the link that they are harmeless, is that true?

I have no first-hand experience, but based on what i've read, they are harmless. Overfeeding is the likely cause of the population increase. No worries though.
