Hi guys

Overnight I noticed that some of the water proof laminate that covers the body and lcd of the thermometer had been raised and split from the body forming a small bubble

Inside this bubble were these weird looking worm things (can’t quite tell if they are segmented or if they have legs).

Checked in on most of the day and they seem to be making the bubble bigger.

All they seem to do is react to light and move to spit out green (waste?) from a hole they made in the side of the laminate.

I’ve got absolutely no idea what they could be.o_O

Any ideas?

Looks like dorvillidae worms which I can’t imagine have that capability

Ive been through a few of those lcd temp displays they always break down eventually. I had one rust in my tank after that layer flaked off. Don't know about the worms Ive never had them or seen them anyway.

Thanks guys, I’ll look into that type of worm. Maybe it bubbled overnight and they moved into the cavity in the same night? surprised as it’s fairly new.
