This was no joke lol even though size was. Two yr system

1.5 inch refugium ok now the serious offers can be entertained

I will certify that as the smallest, darn sure heh

I initially used a 5.5 gallon tank as a sump for my cube. It fit in my stand. I flooded my stand once and paid the money for the eshopps nano cube sump.

Hey anymore info or images for this tank?

yes! that was one of my favs. I was able to sell that rascal for 800$ on the spot to someone that walked up to my display and had the bills lol. he carted it off :( but that was my first reef sell and only reef sell ha./ I didn't profit much, I bet I had 400$ in frags and 200 in equipment like custom glass lid w holes, lighting, time spent messing with it all.

That little reef is the first sealed reef tank, non evaporating, ever invented. done in about 2003 ish

that ugly ring of silicone around the top was hidden by the canopy for the system..a custom glass lid sat on it, and the weight of the canopy pressed down. I didn't have to topoff, it didn't evaporate. the internal refugium where that little one sat had macros, lit oppositely, so plants did all the gas xchange heres the old thread Rev thanks for checking, good old days of pico wild west here:

that half gallon reef also holds the distinction till shown otherwise of first documented table top growth form for acro in a pico reef :)

nerd records heh
