I received 2 Zoa frags from someone 2 weeks ago. I let them adjust for a few days and then I went to dip them. At first, since they we taking so long to open up I thought it was a stress issue. I didnt have time to drip so I did the cup of water every few minutes accimation. I went to dip them and saw what the issue is. Both frags have aptasia growing amongst the polyps. I have them in a 5 gallon quaranteen tank right now. How can I get rid of them? Can't scrape & the dip doesnt work on Aptasia. I dont have anything that eats them.

Not sure how big the rock is, but you could cover the aptaisa with reef glue. Just make sure you cover the entire thing.

2-3" piece live rock rubble on a plug. When they arrived, they were withdrawn into the holes. Now they're happy and my Zoa arent.

Touch them enough to cause them to withdraw, and then apply super glue gel over the hole.

I've done this with success, but I did have to treat one twice. It eventually found another way out after a week or two. The second time finished it off for good.
