Huge bummer all...(not sure if I should make a new post for this). I just picked this up from FishGeek today...super nice guy by the way...and it isn't going to work for my application.

Yes it does.

You do need a resevoir but that is the case for any ATO. On my main tank I use a large food storage container with a hole cut in the top for the tubing and power cable for the pump.
