Currently I am turning my refugium light on and off manually and tend to just let it run 24-7.. Same goes for my skimmer when trying to increase nutrients.

I need something low profile and came across these smart outlets. I do have an amazon alexa so wondering what kind of simple timers others are using?

Those things are awesome.
Im going to tag along and see what other people say.

Looks like it will work. Depending on your outlet, the other socket may not be usable.

Yeah, I actually would like to get 4.. So far I have below running all 24-7

1. cooling fan
2. skimmer
3. UV filter
4. Refugium light

I added these timers for my refugium and have 1 extra which I am debating if I should use for the skimmer or UV.. Its very impressive and the low profile design allows for just covering 1 outlet. In the past I've always used those unreliable timers and this one I love already... It can handle up to 1200Watts.

My cooling fans are all D.C. Computer fans that Run from a temp sensor controller I bought on amazon for $14 us.

My fuge light is also an led and has a built in timer it is also 12vdc.
Planted freshwater tank lights are pretty cheap.

I don't have a good system for temperature control besides 2 X150watt eheim heaters and a 24-7 hr on cooling fan and seneye monitor for when I am leaving down for a few days. Can you share a link to this DC computer fan with temp probe? I like simple and cheap sometimes for these things so I can replace them more frequently

saltyfilmfolks you've given me a new project... I anchored my tank to the wall looks off so I was planning on covering it with just a rectangle piece of white acrylic wood. I am constantly opening the sump to check the temperature having the temp display on the side wood anchor would be great, not to mention it will be the most practical. The ones I am finding on amazon all have the outlet next to the display. I am assuming you can use it for only cooling and heating is option!
