Smart home integration of GHL Profilux

Warning: I have no associations with GHL and this project is meant to improve their services, not replace them.

Anyone want to give me some input of what do you guys would like to see in a smart home integration of GHL Profilux?

As we all know the P4 is not open for 3rd party, but everything is possible. Im reaching quite far right now, and if anyone done some work on this I would love to get some input and / or cooperation for the integration so we could simplyfy this.

This is my goal:
1. Full two way Alexa support - under progress and semi working
2. Full logging support into InfluxDB and Grafana - working and implemented
3. Full sensor support for Home Assistant - working and implemented
4. Full two way Telegram bot support - Read working and implemented - write (state commands under development).

Well yes it should be an unofficial home assistant component I made, but no official api yet.

Pulling data as shown is something that is implemented in home asdassist as well as Alexa tgrothr ha.

If it's interst I can publish the component, but be beware it's just a hack for now, no official support

My next version of UI for GHL controller. Alexa is in the behind as well as home Asssistant. Even with not full two way integration it will be possible to enable / diable pumps, feed mode, maintanance mode etc. by button, timer and voice via Alexa.

I will be getting some time the next couple of weeks planning to make a public release or beta testing. More parameters can be pulled out with no issues - this is just a test on a P3 since my P4 and KH director is used for something else right now.

Hopefully the tile method is appelaing

If any with development knowledge (UI, Alexa / Node and API knowledge and are willing to help let me know). The plan is fully voice controlled aquarium logging (PH, nitrates etc), but I need more manpower.

Are you thinking about profilux or the alexa thing? For the profilux as of now the instant communication to the profilux is the ADIN-method that is implemented in my component making it possible to control actions directly. Regarding the aquaticlog integration its also going forward. Its a component ready that implement aquaticlog-sensors directly in home assistant making it simple to put it into influxdb etc.

The smart home integration is a bit tricky. Yes its possible with a crawler method, but thats a bit slow, but doable. My suggestion until we see an api is using a relay like sonoff with the ADIN card to trigger commands. If someone want to wireshark the app and maybe being able to use the websocket thats a possibility too.

Wow this is a truly great work! So there is a way to get profilux to send data to influxdb? How can I make this happen? Displaying all meassurements in grafana would be awesome! I am using HA, profilux 4, grafana and influxdb

Im just holding off a bit for a bit more reliable option for starting and stopping actions, but for reading sensors thats easy in HA and influxdb

Hi aumoenoav,

I also developed almost the same functionality with ProfiLux and Node-RED. It was no simple task because there is no real API for communicating with PL.

I started with using the PL JSON-websites (which are no valid format) and ended with my own userdata.xml to get all the data from PL with one request.

For starting food break or maintenance I use the webpage communication.php with query parameters so I don't need ADIN.

I also enabled Alexa to query and control all the stuff with Node-RED.
