Smat farms led from Amazon

God bless you with the dosing amounts and such, I've been working on dialing in my evo 13.5, I'm gonna need those light channel percentages asap :p

Absolutely... from the bottom of the light to the TOP of the Display Tank...8inches. I use the arm that came with the light, no issues with it for me.
dang, the guys here thought 50% would be the top end. I'm running mine at 35% now and I'm "acclimating" up from the stock evo light. 90% seemed insane, but I guess not!

I have a monti and birdsnest about 5-6" from the water/top of my tank (light is 8" above) and I'm not getting growth yet, but I'm on my way to 50% and apparently higher now

What are you dosing/Feeding with IF any?

Sorry for the late response...I am having EXCELLENT GROWTH with mine, to be honest...I am also using the Tropic Marin program as well. See Photos of current growth... (24 MAR 2022)

Hey awesome tank btw! I turned down my lights and now I’m getting better color, my tank is mainly soft corals. I just started the tropic Marin all for reef and hopefully I see some results soon, overall I like these lights, I just had them turned up to high. What are you intensity levels at for each color?

Glad you are getting better results. I LOVE the Tropic Marin program btw...here are my values for the lights btw with the Maximum lights reaching at 1230-6:45 pm then it goes to Ramping Down mode until 8 pm (where I start dose feeding) then Moonlight phase until 11:30 pm...Then Apex takes over and turns off the light until 10 am untl the next day to a Moon Light Phase until 11 am. Ramping up starts at 12:30 pm.

Hey guys, just thought I’d add an update. Lights are running well and coral seems happy. I may lower my brightness or move my frogspawn down due to possible over intensity, but my SPS are growing.

I had an issue with the power supply. One of the converter blocks failed. Seems to have a loose or broken connection internally. I decided to just by a replacement on Amazon so I could get it next day instead of dealing with SmatFarm and probably having more delay.
This is the adapter I picked up and it works perfectly.

I thought I should pass that on in case anyone else has an issue.

Hey all, I've been in touch with Smat farms some more. They've recently been working on a new mount for these lights! In a little over a month they'll be released on Amazon officially, after the previous stock with the older arms is depleted from what I understand.

They've opted for a kessil look this time, and as an owner of the original arm, this looks a lot better!

Just got hands on an aquatic life hybrid unit. So tomorrow I will be running par meter. If anyone needs me to run a specific schedule /depth let on just the LED unit me know since I’ll be Dickin around with it a lot apogee 510 meter

If you could do like 3", 6", 9" that would probably cover the depths of my evo 13.5
If you want to run whatever your settings are and get the par there and maybe something like 10/50/50/10/5/15 that would be great for me!

I have the light 6” above the water with acrylic lid, measurements at 6” below the water and 12” below the water would be great. Also checking those depths directly below the light and on the perimeter of the light boundary.

running A15 B100 C100 D100 E15 F15

Thank you

Using bracket that came with light all the way up…running 10/50/50/10/5/15
3” is 245ish directly under light and moved 9 inch to side or indirect drops max to 175 but my tank is around 20 inch wide

6” 195ish direct under and indirect surprisingly is 165

9” 160ish direct under and indirect is 150ish

Very good spread

My lights are around 9 inches off water and a pain to lower so I’ll give u readings using my height
6” 360 direct under and 315 9 inches away from center
12” 240 center and 260 off to sides….probably reflect off glass.

that was running 15/100/100/100/15/15 with 1 light
