Smell bad is the frag dead?

Received this frag today,big delayed of weather. Right when i opened it,it smelled so bad. Is this torch dead or still has a chance?

If it smells like it's decaying, and is slimy, then it's probably dead or dying

I’m sorry but that torch is a goner. If its in a quarantine tank or display tank, I’d suggest you remove it. Either throw it into the bin or if you would like to keep the skeleton, wash it under running tap water and leave in the sun to dry.

Also, check with your dealer if they have a replace or refund policy for dead on arrival corals. Based on what you have said, this torch was already dying or dead when it was still in the package.
