Thanks Barb! I just got a hammer today but I'm letting it grow out a little bit before I add it, but it's a pretty one!

I thought I'd get an update going since come Thursday I'm going to be gone 10 days to Idaho...JOY (very displeased with this if you didn't know already lol)
and if getting ready for that wasn't enough I found out Edison is cutting my power off from 8am to 5pm...I'm VERY unhappy about that!

Yeah they're switching out light posts. So I simply told them if anything happens to anything in my tanks, they're getting the bill. But to be on the safe side I borrowed a generator.

So far I've got 1 red mushroom, INSIDE the skull as well as some chaeto, a yellow cucumber, 2 hermit crabs, an astrea snail, a few zoa's and I have a hammer coral and some pulsating xenia getting nice and healthy in my other tank waiting for my return. Then I'll start looking for a small goby to add and something else...It worries me because it's only a 5g tank so I don't want to overstock it as far as fish or make a poor choice and eventually have to move it or get rid of it. Thanks guys! I'm way excited about this contest!

You and me both! Haha, I'm going through withdrawals with my tanks! I've been gone for so long I can't wait to see all my fish! I'm leaving tomorrow night I believe, so I should be home Saturday night! Finally! haha I'll post pictures ASAP!

So I get home...and I see this...needless to say I need to beef up my CUC lol, that will come wednesday!
And I added a yellow clown goby, I love this little guy!

Yesterday I got some more of a clean up crew so now I've got:
2 hermit crabs
2 astrea snails
1 Mexican turbo snail
1 emerald crab
Coral:
Some paly's that grow like weeds (annoying)
Eagle eye's
Pulsating xenia's
Hairy green mushroom
red mushroom (inside skull)
green star polyps
Fish:
Yellow Clown Goby
That's all I've gotten so far. Most of the coral were fragged from my tank, I also have a hammer coral that will soon be in the tank.
I cleaned out the skull today, I had some chaeto in there, I added a small amount and it flourished! I pulled a bunch out today and put a little back in to grow some more, the pods are running rampant in this tank! Pictures to come very soon.

Are you keeping track of the prices for your corals? You'll need to use the fair market value for the coral frags from your own system. If you made purchases and can take a pic of the receipt(s) and post, that would be great. You should be able to edit the first post in your thread and keep an updated list w/prices there. That will help the judges TREMENDOUSLY!

Yeah for sure, I took pictures of my receipts today, I just have to upload em. The only receipt I don't have is for the hammer, I got it for $10 at an LFS, I'm not sure what to put the prices at for the green star polyps or the zoa's, also I'm not sure if $5 is enough for the xenia even though that's what I got it for.

He is very cute! Very small! LOL. Clean up crew is still working hard, taking pictures is getting difficult because my camera wants to focus on the algae on the tank instead of what's behind it lol But I snapped a few decent pictures.
