My margarita snails do that periodically and seems like they go on forever -- clouds the water for a bit but not too bad.

Usually they do it solo but once saw two stacked on top of each other both "spouting off" and the same time -- haven't seen any babies yet, though. (I assume the fish and filters get it all)

You've got a snail gigolo, seems mildly concerning. Could be a sexual harassment lawsuit mess. Get a good lawyer.
