Never seen one of these before!

Slithering on the glass and when I tried to grab him he started a terrifying snake swim but I got him

looks like a snek to me for some reason.

In all seriousness, I am not completely sure. The closest thing on the Chuck's Addiction worm guide is a species of unidentified ribbon worm (Nemertea), which are predatory. It might also be a peanut worm (Sipuncula), which are detritivores. @ISpeakForTheSeas might know more. Sorry if I keep summoning you to so many threads though, you just know so much about marine life!

Haha, I don't mind - this is a big part of how I learn!

For the OP, how big is the worm, and does the worm have eyes at all (or a place where eyes would go, but no actual eyes there)?

Thanks for this, it does most resemble that second to last ribbon worm!

It did kinda have a head looking end with eyes or antennae. It’s was about 4-5” long.

Didn’t see in the minute I spent catching and disposing of him haha
Understandable - well, given the size, a ribbon worm would be my first guess too; if it had a mouth, then it may have been something else, but I can't say for sure.

Kinda looks like it could be a lancelet. They resemble eels in shape.
Lancelets are fairly stubby, though, and they appear closer in appearance to primitive fishes like jawless fish. It would be really cool if it is one.
