So I found those stupid little starfish eating my Zoas. Looks like there is a harlequin in my future.

My buddy got a couple harlequin shrimp because he had literally thousands of those things. They jammed on them and have just about gotten every one. And they look cool!

Good news, the harlequin is taking care of my starfish issue!

Looks like all the starfish are gone. I guess I have to buy the harlequin a chocolate chip??

The 'nem moved to the front - look how awesome!

Yep. Probably so.

My return pump failed last week - there was a short. I was walking around wondering where the "burning electric" smell was coming from. Later that night the return pump stopped - my controller started sending me emails! When I unplugged the pump's controller power cable it lit on fire! Needless to say, I removed that pump and trashed it. I put in a small spare Jebao I had which doesn't really supply enough flow to my tank and manifold but a spare is a spare.

The return pump is a crucial piece of equipment. But I would say the controller is even more important!

...having some Water Level Sensor / ATO issues. Dumped 10g of RODI in to my tank dropping the salinity. Must fix / look for a redundancy..

got some zoa's dying and my frogspawn dropped a few heads. Guess it is time to do some testing.

So I am not happy with the growth after about a year of being up. Checked parameters and there is nothing spectacular. Moved the powerheads around which made both BTAs move to opposite ends of the tank.
...Waiting..
