So for several months now I have been dealing mysterious losses in my SPS. My major three and nutrients have been steady in their respective acceptable ranges. I use the Natureef denitrification reactor to control my nutrients and while speaking with a friend of mine that also uses the same reactor, he suggested I be careful with how much of the phosphate remover I am dosing because too much could cause STN. So, I decided to send water off to Triton as I had an extra kit laying around only to find out that they aren't accepting samples right now. I then looked back at my previous tests and noted high levels for the items listed in the subject line. I will list the item, with the tested result and followed by the triton target.....
Sn sample tested 4.98 triton target 0.00
Sr sample tested 19.93 triton target 8.00
Li sample tested 1024.00 triton target 200
Br sample tested 94.69 triton target 62
I run a calcium reactor, use ESV salt and don't dose any other trace elements. I have read other threads about Li so I am guessing that my level is nothing to worry about. My major concern is my Sr and Br levels. Could these levels be causing the mysterious losses?
