Good evening everybody,

I have a snail in my tank that doesn’t look to hot. Everything else is doing well, the other snails and the hermit crabs, and coral. He is my largest one, and I can’t think of any problems. It has been somewhat shriveled for the last few days not moving much. I can see a lot of the inside of his shell, as well of some brown substance that seems to be leaking from it. What’s going on?

Well I’m sure this is a first since I’ve been a member sorry to hear I seem to lose a snail every so many months. No pattern but I’ve had a lot of changes as well is there lots of algae and things to munch on?

I had scrubbed my rocks clean a few weeks prior so very minimal however around the bottom there is yes. I also drop a few algae pellets in too.

I find the darn snails won’t climb on the frag racks and the hair algae doesn’t get touched in saying that taking the frags off and cleaning the racks is easy. But I thought it would be cool for the snails to have at it
