Are they clear and jelly like? I ran into this once before, and they turned out to be stomatella eggs. Under frag plugs seems to be a popular place for them to lay.

Not really jelly like. They look like they would be, but actually have a firm translucent bubble casing. If you push it with your finger nail, it pops up.

Ok. I ask because they look similar to this

and they turned out to be stomatella eggs
