i have a hitch hiker it was extremely tiny when i first fot my snail. Now its getting bigger is it an lps ?? And how is it surviving on my snails back lol will it harm my snail ?

Certainly looks like an LPS. Coral just need a solid substrate to become established an apparently the snail's shell provided that place. It's certainly making it more difficult for the snail to get around, an will only become more of a nuisance to the snail the larger the coral gets. I'm not sure it would necessarily be so much of a problem as to kill the snail though. You could always try and cut the coral off, but then you might wind up damaging the snail's shell and killing it. I'd probably go with a wait and see approach at this point if it were me.

The snail is traveling around so far okay hes up and down the glass and all over the place. Hope hes not hindered tloo much
