Snail HITCHIKER

Hi, what is this hitchhiker on my snail? It doesn’t seem to be bothering it. Very productive snail.

I couldn’t get good photos on it but it’s brown and on the end it has some wavy brown things. If better pictures are needed I’ll take some when my lighting comes on tomorrow. Thanks.

I realized later it was some loose diatoms.
