snail hitchiker

Have had these for about a month. Just noticed this critter on the shell of one. If I recall this is a Astrid snail.

Harmless or remove asap?

Vermetid snail.

I wouldn’t say it’s very harmful but they definitely irritate corals with their mucus web. You could super glue over the opening, scrape it off or crush it.

Agree vermetid snail. Recommend to remove it and avoid them from spreading everywhere
