Ive seen some SPS losses in a tank, and the only thing new may be these tiny snails.

What do you think they are?

I have not seen a nassarius with that style of shell. Most that I know of are safe. Not the orange stripey one though. It is listed as not reef safe by many sites as Babylonian.

Closest I can come up with is a freshwater snail looking similar. :)

Of all the corals in this particular system, why just the Birdsnest bites it? Grasping...

Definitely some type of Coralliophila snail based on what you have provided. Kill with fire, from what I recently have seen by an advanced reef keeper tests only hydrogen peroxide dip kills them. SPS eating snails are extremely invasive and hard to eradicate as they will breed rapidly in captivity with food source.

I have them (or a very similar species) in several of my grow out systems. They flock to the glass at night to feed on diatoms. I find them under SPS, but just hiding. Never seen them eat a coral, although I have seen them on one that was suffering from another ailment. I have removed SPS that are fully encrusted on the racks and found several of these guys hiding underneath, with zero damage to corals.
I don't have time for an extensive search, but Coralliophila that I see on Google are all rough textured shells; mine and the OP's shells are smooth. Also, the opening is slit shaped. Coralliophila are have a more rounded operculum.

Thanks for the response.
