Snail ID please

I received this in an order by accident and the shipper said it was a reef safe Atlantic sundial snail. I know normal sundials are darker and eat zoas. I have him chilling in my QT until I figure out what it is.

That is kind of weird looking. From top the ID is a sundial. The bottom half looks whacked-out. Never seen a sundial with the shell so expanded. They are carnivores, so not reef safe.
 
I've never seen a sundial snail elongated like that. It does look like a sundial shell though...
 
There are many types of sundials (Architectonicidae is an absolutely enormous family of snails). The common zoa eating variety is darker and has the cone shaped operculum, however, most if not all of the members of this family are predatory on something.

I would err of the side of caution and remove at least to the fuge (if you have one). I'll try to ID to species later. A picture of the bottom showing the operculum would help with ID.
