Is this a pyramid snail? Does not look like picks I am finding. Only one resembles the shape (pic 3) the others somewhat look like limpets.

Pick 4 is asterina starfish I believe. 3 is a snail not sure what type. That’s all I know though.

Pic 3 does look suspect. Otherwise all I see is chitons and asterina.
Yeah I meant chitons not limpets. I know about the asterina. Pic 3 although looks like it is football shaped not pyramid. Just going through some color loss on the clam and not sure why.

Pic 3 looks like a baby nassarus snail.

Are you having trouble with your clam?

I would suspect the snails that looks like a nar. Is actually a bad whelk...

I was just thinking that there is a lookalike to the nas... But couldn't remember the name. Are whelk predatory to clams?

I had one come in small with some nassarius and it grew to an inch long eating my other snails before I caught it. They eat mollusks so I wouldn't be surprised if clam was on the menu.

Don't clams need iodine? Do you test for it?

#reefsquad, can anyone chime in?
