Snail ID!

Can someone please tell me what this is and if it's a good or bad thing? I never bought this it just showed up in my tank. It looks like a snail or Gastropod I'm not sure. I have it outside my tank until you guys confirm it's a good or bad thing ! Please help!

It's a limpet of some sort. Nothing wrong with it. Good part of the clean up crew

In my experience , limpets are better algae eaters than any commercially available snail.

Yes limpet. I love them anytime I buy from my lfs, I pick some out of their tanks lol
