Looks like a margarita snail
The aquarium shouldcontain both sand and rocks, and the snail needs to be given good hiding spots, with caves and crevices, to seek shelter in during the day. Live rock / live sand is recommended and they thrive best in cooler temps closer to 74 deg as they normally dwell in deep cooler water.

I got this hitchhiker with my coral. Do they eat detritus, diatom and other algae similar to nerite snail?

it eats massive amounts of algae and if it falls over, it can make itself upright again.

Thank. My tank is around 81F during the day and 77F at night with the inkbird controller. Hope that enough for it to survive.

They prefer cooler temps but you never know

Wouldn't be better to just either lower or higher the temp that is quite a fluctuation my tank is set at 77.8 and might drop to 77.6 at night

Yes, which is why I keep mentioning preferable cooler temps. My tanks are at 78=79 but 76-77 wouldn't be a bad compromise
