Agreed and are excellent nuisance algae eaters. Trochus snails normally has a black foot that is an off white/tan color on the underside of the foot which confirms what it is. Although there is a small survival rate, they breed easily in a reef tank
 
Banded trochus snail. You can confirm by placing the snail upside down on the substrate; if it can right itself, it's a trochus. Oh, and these are great snails to have for a variety of reasons.
Yes they right themselves quickly. Thanks. I was concerned that they may be sundial snails, but they seem more conical. Thanks again.
