Snail ID

Just picked up some frags from a LFS, and had these two hitchhikers lol. Little blue leg hermit and whatever snail/conch? On top of him. Any idea while I'm acclimating the Corals would be great!

Looks like a whelk. If so, you don't want them.

Possibly a harmless Dove snail as well (note the lack of “tattooing” on the siphon of OP’s snail said to be characteristic of whelks). However, the deep curve of OP’s snail’s shell is throwing me off. More pictures would help with identification.
