Snail/nudibranch id

Saw this guy on a piece of rock, seems to be elongated which makes me think its not a snail? Looks about an inch long, tried to get a better pic until he went under a piece of rock into the sand.

That’s a stomatella snail. Feeds on algae and will readily breed in the tank. They are a beneficial clean up crew. The “elongated” you are referring to is actually its really long foot. When it its threatened, it may drop a piece of that foot to distract and make its escape. Hence it is not uncommon to find these guys missing parts of their foot especially if you have hermits and crabs.
