Snail or coralline?

Hi All,

So when I first saw these deep purple areas appear all over my rockwork I was excited hoping it was coralline but I after looking closer I am not sure, they almost appear to be like snails or something with a conical form and an opening at the top?

I have not noticed them in the past and I currently have an issue with almost 0 N and 0.09 Ph

Thoughts?

That may be vermetide snails. hard to tell from pic. There are also branching types of coralline.
