My QT tank has these little pyramid snails that seem to keep slowing down or killing off snails. They look just like the ones on clams. Anyone seen these before? Searched and didn’t come up with much.

pyramid snails are bad, they will eat up your snails and clams, hard to get rid of once in system, only way to rid them is to deprive of food source...

Bad no doubt. Weird thing is the only thing in the system is 3 trochus snails and a bunch of live rock. For some time months there was not even snails.
Now I’m paranoid I can’t even trust this as a QT tank not wanting to get these in my display.

they may also eat pods and survive on algae alone . I've seen coral farms having to take down their whole system because they were infected with these nasty things.
