Snail rocking some purple funk...

What is this perple nerple that my snail is rocking?

Looks like coral or tunicates.

The guess from my local forum was a goni or maybe at one point in time a goni. Here is what was posted.

Any other ideas? I am still not 100% on anything. The polyps are fuzzy but don't extend.

Perhaps it's a colonial sea squirt of the genus Botryllus

I had a snail toting around some alveopora. I fragged it off but and it looked fine for a while, just brown. Lost it in a rescape... I'd say that or goneapora.
