Is this a bad critter to have? I noticed a lot of snail/slug babies on my front and back glass and I got excited because I thought my snails bred.

Today a powerhead fell and blew sand on this coral. I needed to flip it over to remove dislodge the sand, and that’s when I noticed this creature.

Was not sure if it was a chiton or stomatella snail. Hard to discern. If they have a small thumbnail of a shell on it's back, then stomatellas.

I have both in my system and are harmless. Leaning more towards stomatella since it looks like I see two appendages (tentacles) protruding in front of them.

You are correct. I looked up stomatella. I learned that it’s the number one hitchhiker people inquire about! Thank you!
