Snail? Slug?

Got some live rock about a month ago...this guy must have been here the whole time...what is it? Red and white looks snaily but no shell...has a weird tube for a head and can move quick....good guy or bad guy?

Looks like a cowrie.

im thinking cowrie too. give it a poke, the red/white area may move away exposing a shiny shell

Thats it!! Thank you! Googled red cowrie and got this image looks almost exact...close enough to say yes thats what it is.....dont know how I missed it for a month...anyone know anything about it...will it eat coral?

Generally, reef safe, herbivores though some have been known to nibble on corals so I’d keep an eye on him. Given the color, should be easy.
