This looks to be an Isopod or a Chiton to me

Was he a “good” guy
I'll have to double check and verify what it is first. Can you tell me if this critter has legs or not?

If legs = Isopod, else no legs = Chiton

Chiton's are great! A not too common character who grazes on algae and has a really really cool shape which is nice to keep track of in the tank :)

Isopod's I do not have a firm answer on as I do not have experience or have researched them, but here's a thread that will help you distinguish their risks - https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/h...cirolanid-verses-sphaeromatid-isopods.251779/

He didn’t have legs. Thank you so much for the info. Now I’m sorry he didn’t make it.
