For those of you with older tanks, have you seen your coralline algae disappear overtime from snails or other CUC? I have turbo snails which seem to feed primarily on my LR and leave my glass and sand alone; much to my dismay. I have beautiful purple rocks and am concerned that they’re doing more bad than good. Considering rehousing them in the sump and getting a different CUC.

Snails don’t go after coralline. Any urchins or limpets ?
Nope. Haven’t seen any disappearance at all. Just concerned. If they don’t eat it, thank goodness. My tank seems pretty clean as far as algae, cyano, pest worms etc. I’m just concerned they’ll target the good stuff.
