Soooo my snails appear to need a haircut. Would taking them out of the tank and giving them a spritz of h2o2 be a bad idea?

Spritz???

I would be very careful using an oxidizer like peroxide on your snail. Perhaps apply peroxide with a tooth brush.

Pull what you can off by hand and scrub rest with a firm toothbrush in a container with tank water

I did plan on being careful, that’s why I’m asking on here because I have no idea how it affects snails. It works great on frags though.

I’ve even I used it as a mouth wash.

It appears to be on there pretty good. I haven’t tried grabbing by hand but i did try to “vacuum” it off with a good sized turkey baster and it didn’t budge.
I just let my snails go through their hippie phase and eventually it dies off on its own.
