snails and sand

most of your snails will be fine with sand beds the bumblee snail likes to dig and forage in sand so i would recomend them maybe some turbos as well
 
I would be cautious with the bumblebee snails in a reef. They munched on some corals in my tank. :(
 
Thanks for the info I was told turbos have a hard time righting themsleves if the fall due to the sandbed any truth to that.....

Yep, stopped keeping them several years ago. Cool looking, but not reef safe.

That is true, plus "turbos" have a huge appetite and tend to be overstocked.
 
I use nassarius and dwarf ceriths. They do a good job.
