Snails + display macroalgae?

Planning to get blue hypnea and perhaps flat branch gracilaria. Does anyone know if snails eat this? I put in a brotycladia, but it hasn't done well--snails all over it, breaking the branches (don't know if they are eating it or just destroying it--see pics).

Side note: getting a tailspot blenny. Odds that it will eat all of the hypnea and gracilaria?

African cerith is climbing up the broty now. Man, this macro is toast

From the pictures it looks like you have some hefty snails lol. Totally possible that they're just too big and breaking the bubbles off. I have a lot of ceriths and they don't eat any of my macros. What other snail species do you have?

5x astraea, 2x african ceriths, 2x cortez ceriths, 4x FL ceriths, 4x nerites, 1x oxtail nerites, 2x limpets, 1x bumblebee, 1x nasserius vibex, 1x money cowrie. Think that's it.

Edit: and 10x dwarf ceriths + 5x periwinkles

I have nassarius, trochus, a bunch of different ceriths and none of those eat my macros. So I'm not too sure about the others since I have no experience with them. Any chance you got all those from Reef Cleaners? If so, you should send them an email to see if they might know the culprit because they have all of those species. They've always been helpful when I'd ask about macro-safe inverts.
