Over here in England a lot of Snails sold in Aquarium shops come from cold water locations and these never do well.
I've had them die within days.
I currently have 4 turbo snails about 1 year old and I've even got one which I reckon I've had about 6 years + !!!
I don't have or need a large clean up crew the one I have is staying alive and tank is clean. (No hermits)
