Snails hanging out at top

My snails tend to hang out at the top of my tank more often that not... is the water too warm?? It sits 80-81F. That’s the only thing I can think of really. Or is that normal...? Thanks!

Our snails would hang at the top if they weren't grazing the rock work. I wouldn't worry.

Assuming they are not trying to escape bad water parameters, lol, I would think they are happy with the biofilm, etc. they have found to eat.

What type of snails? Some types like to hang at the waters edge.
