Title says it all. I was putting a few snails in the tank, when the fiance says "hey, can't they climb out?" LoL, it never dawned on me that it is very easy for them to climb over the top. Has anyone experienced this?

Ive never seen any escape or try too, and I don't find snail shells around my stand so I think it's safe to assume they won't attempt to kill themselves to leave the tank. I do have a screen on my tank now however for months before I put fish In it I had just the snails and cuc in the tank and never encountered any of them getting out. Now that I think about it I do have the water level an inch or so below the rim and I'll see the snails go halfway out of the water just to turn around and go back in the tank

I have rimless and snails, I never had one come out of my tank. If they really wanted , they could escape from braced tanks with ease too.

I have astrea and turbo and no they don't. Cerith in my experience have been known to climb and have found them over water line and under rim so I'd be skeptical with those.
