Snails pooping like crazy

I have 10 tronchus snails that are doing a great job keeping 65 lbs of rock clean. But they poop like crazy. So much so that I confused their poop for food pellets.

Is my tank suppose to dissolve this at a quicker rate? My sand bed is literally covered in crap.

Sounds like you may need more flow to keep it suspended so it can get taken up by your overflow or filter.

Maybe more CUC too. I'm not a hermit crab fan, but do you have at least one hermit crab in the tank?

If not...An alternative is to get some snails that are going to focus more on the sand such as Nassarius or even Cerith or Nerites.

I have around 2500 gph flow in the 90 gallon DT. I was under the impression that this was more Han enough. Am I wrong? Flow pattern is nice and has circular path

I was told to get a bigger clean up crew but wouldn't this just result in more snail waste? I have no hermits. How would nassarius or cerith take care of the snail poop. Sorry for the repeated questions. Just trying to learn as much as possible.
